A tour of what wanim can do, one scene at a time. Every example is ordinary manim Python, compiled and played in your browser. Each scene starts the first time it scrolls into view.
For how to use a player (its tabs, Replay, and the buttons and keys on the canvas), see Using the player. Interactive scenes are explained in interactive controls.
Moving around
The classic first steps: one animate call per shift, color change, scale and rotation.
How to useThe card plays once when it scrolls into view — press Replay in the toolbar to watch it again.
Slides presentation
Two Scene classes run as one presentation in slides mode: a title page, then a three-page square-to-text storyboard.
How to usePress → / space to advance, ← to go back, ↑ to replay the page — or click the < ↻ > icons in the canvas corner. Shortcuts act on the canvas you clicked last.
Lorenz attractor point cloud
An InteractiveThreeDScene integrates a Lorenz attractor into a 15,000-point PMobject and lets the camera orbit it.
How to useDrag empty space to orbit the camera; scroll to zoom.
Sine and cosine plot
Axes with custom ticks, two graphs, axis labels, a graph label and a vertical line at x = 2π.
Moving frame box
MathTex typesets the product rule and a SurroundingRectangle hops from one term to the next.
Gradient image
A NumPy array becomes an ImageMobject, framed by a SurroundingRectangle.
Following camera
A MovingCameraScene zooms onto a moving dot, follows it along the curve and then restores the frame.
Opening animation
The classic manim opening: LaTeX titles, a fading series, and a NumberPlane bent by a non-linear function.
Interactive 3D scene
An InteractiveThreeDScene with a slider that moves a sphere along z while the camera stays free to orbit.
How to useDrag the yellow slider to move the sphere; drag empty space to orbit and scroll to zoom.
